Nicotinell partners with Stoptober
Smoking cessation brand Nicotinell has partnered with the annual Stoptober campaign to motivate smokers to quit this year.
Nicotinell will feature the Stoptober logo on its patch, lozenge and gum products and host Stoptober-themed digital banners on its Facebook account, manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) said.
Brand manager Carolin Kröner said Nicotinell is “perfectly placed” to partner with Stoptober’s organiser Public Health England.
“Stoptober offers pharmacists and retailers the chance to get involved and provides a great sales opportunity to increase impact and drive market focus in-store,” she added.
There are eight million smokers in England, with a habit that causes 80,000 deaths per year, Ms Kröner added.
