Numark members land record rebates
Numark paid "a record £10.4 million" in rebates to members in the first four months of its financial year, the group has reported.
The average member rebate between February and May was more than £1,200 a month representing a 10 per cent increase compared with the same period last year, Numark reported.
Numark said that the increase could be partly attributed to a rise in the number of Numark members, however the figure represented "substantial additional sums" were also being paid back to Numark members, according to a statement.
The virtual chain now has 2,600 members across the UK, according to the company.
The rebate was a "substantial return on a membership fee of £120," according to Numark company secretary Stephen Marks claimed.
"The growth in rebates can be attributed to better compliance from our members meaning we can negotiate better deals with manufacturers," he said.
"However, there is plenty of opportunity to improve further and we look forward to maximising returns for members in the future," Mr Marks said.
