Manufacturer Omega Pharma has launched its third wave of interactive seminars on P-medicines management.

The evening sessions, which began on Tuesday, take place in 21 locations across England and Northern Ireland over 10 weeks. They are designed to “empower pharmacists to better manage their P-medicine offering” and “encourage confident conversations about these options”, the manufacturer said.

Last year, Omega Pharma opened the first working pharmacy to monitor patients’ behaviour and choice of products, and the sessions will also “disclose insights gathered” from this London site, it said.

Omega Pharma general manager Neil Lister (pictured) said the previous training sessions had received a “fantastic response from pharmacy teams”.“We’re delighted that the next seminar [will] focus on P-medicines – reflecting our continuous commitment to delivering training advice and support,” he added.
