Actavis has introduced a further three strengths of prolonged-release oxycodone tablets for the relief of severe pain.

Last month’s additions to the Reltebon range are 15mg, 30mg and 60mg strengths, which all come in packs of 56 tablets. They join 56-tablet packs of 10mg, 20mg, 40mg and 80mg strengths, and a 28-tablet pack of 5mg strength.

The extended range provided a “viable, cost-saving alternative” for prescribers to “effectively manage” their patients’ pain, as well as a wider choice of products for dispensers to choose from, said Actavis UK managing director Jonathan Wilson.

Reltebon Prolonged-Release Tablets 15mg, 30mg and 60mg are priced at £26.25, £52.50 and £105 respectively.
