GSK Consumer Healthcare is set to launch Panadol Extra Advance, which will see ‘Optizorb' technology added to the combined paracetamol and caffeine tablet.
The launch this month will be supported by a television campaign in May, plus outdoor advertising and digital partnership work with MSN.
The product will replace Panadol Extra, and will be available in GSL packs of 8 (not available in pharmacy) and 14, and a P-pack of 32.
The Optizorb technology offers a faster rate of absorption, getting to work in as little as 10 minutes, according to the company.
