Perrigo is partnering with the Met Office in a £1.5 million hayfever marketing campaign for its Prevalin and Beconase nasal sprays, the manufacturer has announced.

The partnership in the Take back summer campaign will run from "later this month" (March) until September, with a digital focus that includes a “daily co-branded pollen forecast”, Perrigo said.

Beconase provides “round the clock relief from eight symptoms”, while Prevalin offers “fast and effective defence to help stop symptoms from developing”, the manufacturer claimed.

TV advertising for the brands, as well as adverts on roadsides and at London rail stations, will appear from April, it added.

Pharmacies will receive face-to-face allergy training sessions, window displays, and a clinical professional development guide, Perrigo said.

One 20ml bottle of Prevalin Allergy for adults retails at £9.99, and one 180-spray bottle of Beconase retails at £10.99.
