Perrigo's £1m marketing campaign to support XLS-Nutrition launch
Perrigo will roll out a £1 million campaign, including TV advertisements, for its new meal replacement powder XLS-Nutrition, the manufacturer has announced.
The six-week TV campaign will run from April 23, supported by promotion on Instagram and Facebook, Perrigo said.
In addition, XLS-Nutrition – which has been available in stores since February – will be exhibited at shopping festival This Morning Live in May, the manufacturer said.
“The shake is made from naturally sourced ingredients. Its nutritionally complete formula is high in protein and uses a special combination of B vitamins for energy release,” Perrigo claimed.
“It contains a high quantity of complete proteins which are rich in essential amino acids, are well utilised by the body and have been specially selected for their high biological value,” said Jodie Relf, consultant dietician of the XLS-Medical brand.
The proteins help “maintain muscles”, while the formula – available in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavours – “supports effective weight loss”, Ms Relf added.
One 400g pack of XLS-Nutrition powder and a shaker retails at £22.99, while the powder alone is £19.99.
