The partnership will see Phil Day, superintendent pharmacist at Pharmacy2U, become the “medical consultant and brand ambassador” for Just Travel Cover, the online pharmacy announced earlier this week (October 20).

Mr Day will contribute to the insurance broker’s website with a “series of guides” to provide “help and support for those with medical conditions,” and will also answer questions about “travelling with health conditions including diabetes, heart conditions and cancer”.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr Day said he is “delighted” to be working with Just Travel Cover, adding that “getting appropriate medical travel insurance” is  “vital ” to  patients with medical conditions still being able to enjoy their holidays.

Dale Robinson, marketing manager at Just Travel Cover, said the business has been “working with Pharmacy2U for some time”, drawing on its “expert knowledge and guidance” for customers living with medical conditions.

Just Travel Cover hopes that by “providing people with reliable, trustworthy and credible information about travelling with pre-existing conditions they can make smart decisions before their holiday and during it,” Mr Robinson added.
