PharmaDoctor offers free clinical service packages worth £1,400
PharmaDoctor has launched a “suite of free clinical service packages” for every UK pharmacist.
The packages – which PharmaDoctor said are worth more than £1,400 per pharmacist – cover conditions such as: acne; flu; measles; meningitis ACWY; meningitis B and pneumococcal vaccination; migraine; and weight loss.
Each package includes an e-tool to “lead pharmacists through step-by-step clinical consultations with patients”, a 12-month patient group direction to authorise pharmacists to privately dispense a “range of prescription-only medicines”, and marketing support, PharmaDoctor said.
This will support pharmacists to “to thrive and survive during tough times”, it claimed.
The packages “will enable pharmacists to implement a range of profitable new services with minimum fuss or investment and without being reliant on NHS funding”, said PharmaDoctor’s head of production Judit Mora.
