Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attempted robbery of a pharmacy in Hull.

The individual entered Morrill Street Pharmacy at around 4.25pm on Monday (November 30) and approached the counter, Humberside Police said on Wednesday (December 2). The suspect put the pharmacy’s till in a carrier bag and demanded money from another till, they said.

After a “brief conversation” with staff members and a customer, the suspect left the pharmacy without the till or the money, Humberside Police said. He walked up Holderness Road and got into a car, believed to be silver in colour, and drove off, they added.

No one was hurt during the incident, police stressed.

The suspect is described as white, in his late 20s, 6ft 1ins tall and with a slim build. He was wearing a black and white beanie hat, a maroon jacket and navy blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms, police said.
