Public urged to share information on Yorkshire pharmacy robbery
Burglars stole prescriptions drugs including heart medication and painkillers from a Dunnington Pharmacy in North Yorkshire
Police have warned the public not to take stolen medication after prescription drugs were taken from a North Yorkshire pharmacy. Controlled drugs - including painkiller co-codamol, anti-inflammatory naproxen, heart medication digoxin, diabetes medication gliclazide and Parkinson's disease treatment Sinemet - were taken from Dunnington Pharmacy shortly after midnight on Saturday September 13, North Yorkshire Police announced yesterday (September 22).. Burglars had entered the village pharmacy after forcing two locks on the door, said police, who advised the public not to take any medication they had not been prescribed. North Yorkshire police urged anyone with information about the break-in or the location of the drugs to contact PC Sarah Scott on 101 or email [email protected], quoting crime reference 12140157052.
