Revealed: 3 more Lloydspharmacies closing and 1 up for sale
C+D can reveal the locations of three more Lloydspharmacy branches it will close, as well as one the multiple is still hoping to sell.
Lloydspharmacy is “in the process of closing” three branches: on Sangley Road, south-east London; on Thornbury high street, South Gloucestershire; and in Mill Yard, Nailsworth in Gloucestershire, it confirmed to C+D yesterday (December 11).
It is also “in the process of divesting” a branch on Rooley Lane, Bradford (see map below).
Parent company Celesio UK had previously confirmed to C+D the locations of eight other pharmacies it is closing, as well as a further seven it still hopes to divest.
The total of 19 pharmacies are all part of the 190 “commercially unviable” Lloydspharmacy branches in England where Celesio UK will cease trading. The multiple would not confirm the location of the remaining 171 branches.
Where are the branches located?
You can use C+D's map to view the location of each of the 19 pharmacies. Branches confirmed for closure are marked in purple, while those Lloydspharmacy is still hoping to sell are marked in blue.
This map is live, and will be updated as C+D confirms the location of further affected Lloydspharmacy branches.
