Manufacturer Schwabe has added five multivitamin products to its Nature’s Way Alive! range.

The “soft jell” vitamin supplements, which launched last month, come in five variants: Women’s Energy, Men’s Energy, Women’s 50+, Children’s and Immune Support, Schwabe said.

Each variant contains plant extract pectin and a blend of 26 fruits and vegetables, to provide an “excellent taste” that is suitable for vegetarians, the manufacturer claimed.

The launch is supported by a £600,000 online marketing campaign, as well as a television campaign to follow next year, the manufacturer said. The range – which is already available in the US – should inject “further excitement” into the UK’s vitamin and supplements category, it claimed.
