Scottish Government shakes up pharmacy structure
The Scottish Government is restructuring its pharmacy provision with the creation of a pharmacy and medicines division within its new Directorate of Healthcare.The pharmacy and medicines division will take responsibility for all aspects of pharmacy in Scotland and will continue to work closely with the primary care division, which will be part of the new directorate of health and social care.Scotland's chief pharmacy officer Bill Scott will take on the role of deputy director of the pharmacy and medicines division.
