Sensodyne toothpaste packs go pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is launching limited edition pink packs and tubes of its Pronamel Strong and Bright toothpaste to raise funds for charity Breast Cancer Care.
The packs will be available “in all major retailers across the grocery and pharmacy channels” from September to December, the manufacturer said.
For each pack sold, 15p will be donated to the UK charity, with the amount that will be raised estimated at £37,500, GSK added. The products will be supported by TV, press, social and outdoor campaigns.
GSK Sensodyne Pronamel brand manager James Ratcliffe said: “The services that Breast Cancer Care provides to those affected, along with their friends and family, are vital and we are proud to be supporting this important cause to raise valuable funds.
“Our limited edition pink packs will stand out on shelf in the predominantly white oral care aisle, which should inspire purchase,” he added.
