Seven Seas has launched a new range of health oil supplements this month, designed to target specific health issues such as boosting energy levels, supporting the immune system and maintaining a hormonal balance.

The Health Oils range includes seven new products, all of which combine fish oils with ingredients such as zinc, garlic and vitamins.

The launch follows results from the brand's consumer insight survey, which found consumers often chose products based on their particular benefits.

The range includes Energetic You, Healthy Heart, Perfect Harmony, Immune Defence, Radiant You, Flexible You and Active Mind oils.

The oils feature a neon on midnight blue pack design to stand out on the shelf, and Seven Seas will be supporting the launch with a £4.5 million marketing campaign, celebrity advocates and point-of sale materials.

Retailers could also achieve "significant returns" by highlighting the benefits of fish oil supplementation to customers, said Sarah Day, marketing manager for Seven Seas Health Oils.
