Strides Pharma UK’s cholecalciferol combats vitamin D deficiency
Manufacturer Strides Pharma UK’s range of cholecalciferol capsules can prevent and treat vitamin D deficiency, the company has shared.
The Strivit-D3 range is available in soft gel capsules in 800 IU (equivalent to 20 micrograms of vitamin D3), 3,200 IU (80mcg) and 20,000 IU (500mcg).
The capsules are suitable for kosher and halal diets as they do not contain pork or alcohol derivatives, Strides Pharma UK said.
The range is among the cheapest licensed cholecalciferol brands in the UK, the manufacturer claimed.
The drug tariff prices for the tablets at the time of writing are:
