Superdrug appoints Lucy Morton-Channon as pharmacy superintendent
The former clinical governance manager at Superdrug has been appointed as the multiple's superintendent, C+D can exclusively reveal.
Lucy Morton-Channon joined Superdrug as a pharmacy manager in 2011 and was promoted to clinical governance manager in 2014, providing support to the pharmacy superintendent, the multiple told C+D this afternoon.
In the last six months, Ms Morton-Channon has worked in Superdrug’s healthcare commercial team “where she gained valuable experience in buying, to complement her strong clinical skills”, Superdrug added.
Ms Morton-Channon said she is “looking forward to supporting our pharmacy teams and nurse clinics so that we’re leading the way in offering safe, high quality, effective healthcare services”.
Ms Morton-Channon took over the pharmacy superintendent role today (June 4) as Kathryn Goodfellow – who was appointed superintendent in January 2017 – “has decided to leave the business”, healthcare director Michael Henry confirmed.
“Kathryn has been instrumental in making our pharmacy the success it is today,” he added. “She’ll be missed and we wish her every happiness.”
“I am sure that Lucy will play a key part in delivering our pharmacy strategy and driving our professional excellence.”
