Internis Pharmaceuticals has launched a licensed vitamin D3 capsule in the UK, Fultium-D3 800IU.

The prescription-only capsules contain the equivalent of 20mcg of vitamin D3, and a pack of 30 capsules has an NHS price of £3.60. Internis will support the launch with an advertising, PR and mailshot campaign and through its sales team.

The launch follows the release of Accrete D3 tablets, which contain colecalciferol (vitamin D3) 10mcg (400IU)/calcium 600mg (as calcium carbonate) in a swallowable film-coated tablet, priced at £3.60 for a pack of 60, by Internis last month.

The products are available through all mainline wholesalers.
