Webinar - A primary care strategy for England – where will pharmacy fit?

Your chance to debate the key issues with fellow pharmacists and the industry experts.

More than 18 months after NHS England came into being under 2013's NHS reforms, it has yet to set out its strategy for primary care. But, as the timetable for publication is this autumn, an announcement on the national commissioning body's vision for community pharmacy and the rest of the sector is expected imminently. The strategy's development has been blamed for the delay in pharmacy funding negotiations and the lack of a multi-year settlement. And NHS England's consultation for the strategy – Call to Action – was billed as pharmacy's biggest ever opportunity to shape the future of the profession.

So will it be worth the wait?

This C+D webinar, sponsored by Actavis, will bring together NHS, commissioning and pharmacy representatives to debate what the sector hopes for from the strategy, and thrash out how realistic this is – all live online for you to listen in. Do so and you will have the chance to quiz these panellists and share your own thoughts on the issues. Plus C+D will be gathering readers' views in advance; if you want to share your thoughts please email [email protected]with the subject line ‘Webinar', or tweet us @ChemistDruggist. By registering for this webinar you are agreeing to abide by C+D's community principles
