What the papers say: calcium pills linked to heart attacks; prostate cancer cell found
The Telegraph reports on the dangers of calcium pills, which can increase the risk of heart attack by up to 30 per cent. A story also carried by the Daily Mail and the BBC.The Daily Mail that scientists have discovered the cell believed to be the cause of prostate cancer.The Mail also warns that up to a third of young people suffer from high blood pressure because of their poor diet, alcohol consumption and lack of exercise.Both the BBC and the Daily Mail report on an article in the Lancet, questioning the right of pregnant women to have home births if their is any potential risk to mother or baby.
