RPS: Visit will give Mowat new perspective on GP pharmacists

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) hopes David Mowat’s visit to a GP surgery next week will give the minister a “different perspective” on practice pharmacists.

Pharmacy minister David Mowat will have the opportunity to meet a local community pharmacist who has “seen the advantages” of working with a practice-based pharmacist, RPS English Pharmacy Board chair Sandra Gidley told C+D at the Sigma conference in Rio de Janeiro yesterday (February 15).

Watch the video for more details.

Find out what Mr Mowat told the conference – including his plea for the sector to put the cuts “behind” it – here.
