Released on October 19, the buspirone hydrochloride 7.5mg tablets allow patients to take an incrementally higher dosage and joins the manufacturer’s buspirone hydrochloride 5mg and 10mg versions, Strides Pharma said.

The tablets can treat symptoms of anxiety such as fear, tension, irritability, dizziness, a pounding heartbeat and other physical symptoms, the manufacturer continued.

Buspirone hydrochloride is a prescription-only medicine and is suitable for halal, kosher and vegetarian diets.
