Accord launches 'cost saving' ADHD generic drug
Generic manufacturer Accord (formerly Actavis) has launched Delmosart prolonged-release methylphenidate tablets.
The schedule two controlled drug is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children aged six and over.
Delmosart is available in 18mg, 27mg, 36mg and 54mg tablets in pack sizes of 30, the manufacturer said. The different strengths have a trade price of £15.59, £18.41, £21.23 and £36.81 respectively.
