‘Number of items stolen’ in robbery at AAH warehouse

Three suspects reportedly robbed an AAH warehouse distribution centre, stealing “a number of items before leaving the scene”, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed to C+D.

The Metropolitan Police was called at 7.20pm on Sunday, December 5 to a report of a burglary at the AAH hub in Ruislip, Middlesex, a spokesperson for the force confirmed to C+D on Monday (December 6).

“It was reported that three suspects entered the building and stole a number of items before leaving the scene,” the Metropolitan Police said.

The police could not confirm what was stolen while the investigation is progressing.

“No colleagues were injured”

A spokesperson for AAH confirmed to C+D that “AAH Ruislip was subject to a robbery”.

“Most importantly no colleagues were injured, but we are continuing to support those who were present at the time. We have alerted all relevant stakeholders and partners, and we are assisting the police with their investigations,” they added.

“There will not be an impact to our deliveries,” the AAH spokesperson told C+D.

No arrests made yet

Enquiries into the robbery are currently ongoing and no arrests have yet been made, the Metropolitan Police confirmed to C+D yesterday.

The force is encouraging anyone with information relating to the incident to come forward by contacting the police on 101 with reference 5939/5Dec.

In October, a Surrey Lloydspharmacy branch was forced to shut for one day, forcing patients to go elsewhere to collect their medication, after a man smashed the front door of the branch to steal an undisclosed sum of money.

Meanwhile in August, Seven Hills Pharmacy in Sheffield was broken into twice in one week, leaving the pharmacy facing costs of up to £15,000 to repair and taking additional security measures to prevent further break-ins.
