Johnson & Johnson launches Aveeno Soothing Bath Soak for itchy skin
Johnson & Johnson UK and Ireland has added Aveeno Soothing Bath Soak to its Aveeno range to help relieve dry, itchy and irritable skin while bathing.
Made with 100% natural colloidal oat, a long-recognised ingredient that helps to naturally relieve itchy sensations, the oat powder sachets can be added to a warm bath to calm irritable skin and soothe the body.
Launched on November 1 last year, the product is a helpful addition to the daily regime of customers with very dry and eczema-prone skin, according to the manufacturer.
Research conducted by Johnson & Johnson in October 2021 explored the personal impact that washing and bathing has on very dry skin.
The research, conducted on 100 adults who have had problems with very dry skin, confirmed that there is a significant impact on their everyday activities. They would benefit from using a moisturising bath soak such as the Aveeno Soothing Bath Soak while avoiding scrubbing the skin too aggressively, the manufacturer said.
The new Aveeno Soothing Bath Soak is hypoallergenic, fragrance free and suitable even for those with sensitive skin, Johnson & Johnson added.
