Brancaster Pharma’s Bramox 10mg tablets available on Drug Tariff
Brancaster Pharma’s Bramox 10mg tablets are now on the Drug Tariff, offering potential compliance and budget-saving opportunities, the manufacturer has announced.
This new presentation of the tablets – which contain the active ingredient midodrine hydrochloride – provides a convenient colour-coded single tablet alternative for patients having to take two of the 5mg tablets, aiding compliance and quality of life, according to the manufacturer.
The company claimed this new presentation will result in a cost saving of 10% for the NHS versus the price of two per 5mg midodrine tablets.
Added to the Drug Tariff this month (January 1), Bramox 10mg tablets cost £88,29.
Pharmacists can order the medicine from AAH, Alliance and Phoenix using the PIP code: 4171641.
