Clinical podcast: Dental health and a spotlight on digoxin
From general oral hygiene advice, to encouraging electronic prescriptions, how can community pharmacy and dentistry teams work together to help patients manage their dental health?
In this newly formatted clinical podcast, C+D’s clinical and custom content editor Nana Ofori-Atta talks to Dr Kevin Dapaah, clinical director and principal dentist at Dove Dental and Wellbeing Spa in Earlsfield, London, about general dental health and how community pharmacy and dentistry teams can work together for better patient outcomes.
In a new addition to the podcast series, Mr Ofori-Atta also catches up with C+D digital reporter Eliza Loukou about some of the big news topics covered on the C+D website this month – including primary care network pharmacist myths and crimes in pharmacies.
The monthly “dose from a rose” segment promises to explore the origins of commonly dispensed medicines and this month, digoxin is in the spotlight.
