GSK launches multi-channel campaign for Panadol brand
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has launched a new multi-channel campaign for its brand Panadol, focusing on the acute pain recovery journey.
The campaign will “celebrate that never-talked-about moment of realisation when you start to feel the release from pain”, emphasising how Panadol can help relieve the pain, GSK explained.
GSK is launching the campaign after a period of strong sales growth for the brand, which has been driven by shoppers who are searching for fast and effective pain relief products, according to the manufacturer.
GBI marketing director Monica Michalopoulou said that with the campaign, GSK aims to show patients that it understands their pain journey, as well as explaining which treatments it can offer.
“We hope our new brand campaign can shine a light on the role that Panadol can play in pain relief,” she added.
One box of Panadol Advance 500mg tablets retails at £2.98 while one box of Panadol Extra Advance 500 mg/65 mg tablets retails at £2.75.
