Well trainee in the dock after stealing thousands of boxes of Valium
A trainee from a branch of Well in Norfolk was accused of stealing over a thousand boxes of diazepam over an eight-month period.
A former pharmacy worker in Norfolk was spared prison after they were found guilty of stealing over a thousand boxes of diazepam in an eight-month period.
Bethany Feltwell, 25, of West End, Hilgay, was sentenced on Wednesday (June 19) in Norwich Crown Court.
Feltwell worked at a Well Pharmacy in King’s Lynn. Between October 2022 and May 2023, she stole 1,162 boxes of diazepam worth £871.50.

She originally appeared in West Norfolk Magistrate’s Court on May 15, where she entered a guilty plea.
She was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for 18 months, as well as repaying the pharmacy the £871.50 in pecuniary losses.
Feltwell must also undertake 100 hours of unpaid work, as well as 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirements.
Last month (May 21), a Well Pharmacy employee was ordered to repay over £4,000 they had stolen from the till, after being caught on CCTV.
