Boots has launched new GLP-1 “support zones” in more than 220 of its stores, it announced yesterday.

The multiple said the zones will feature “a curated range of products” aimed at helping customers navigate some of the “common consequences of losing weight”.

The products include those “across gastro and gut support, skin elasticity, hair-loss, sleep, energy and nutrition”, such as peptide scalp serums, B-vitamin supplements and collagen powders, it added.

Boots said the support zones expand on its existing weight loss services, which include an in-store weight loss treatment service and a digital weight loss service provided to eligible customers through Boots Online Doctor.

“Holistic offering”

Boots chief healthcare officer Jamie Kerruish said the move will allow Boots to “best help customers and cater to what they need”.

He added that the “holistic offering covering before, during and following treatment” seeks to ensure that patients have the tools they need to make “long-lasting sustainable changes”.

It comes after Boots announced the expansion of its in-store weight loss treatment service to an additional 44 stores last month.

And it follows the multiple’s rollout of GLP-1 friendly meal deals in May.
