A pharmacy worker was held at knifepoint during a robbery in Runcorn, Cheshire, on Monday afternoon.
Cheshire Police issued an appeal this morning to “anyone with any information to contact them”.
It said officers in Runcorn were called to reports of a robbery at a pharmacy in the Windmill Hill area “at around 4:55pm” on October 26.

“It was reported that an unknown man had entered the premises and grabbed a member of staff, a 66-year-old woman, and threatened her with a knife,” police said.
They added that the man demanded that other staff members hand over prescription medication “or he would harm the woman”, and said staff complied and “handed the man a quantity of medication” before he fled from the store on foot.
Police said the man was described as “white, with ginger hair”, was “believed to be between 17- and 18-years of age” and was wearing a grey coat and a balaclava.

Detective sergeant Christopher Sheffield said he understands the “level of concern incidents like this cause”, and said police are “working at pace to identify who was involved and fully establish the circumstances of what occurred”.
“As part of our enquiries, we are now appealing to anyone who has any information in relation to the incident, or was in the Windmill Hill area at around the time it occurred and saw anything suspicious, to please get in touch,” he added.
Sheffield also called on motorists that may have access to dashcams to review their video footage.

It comes after three people, including two former pharmacy workers, were sentenced last month over offences linked to the theft and supply of prescription-only medicines in Somerset.
And it follows five people being charged in July after stealing almost £10,000 of items in a robbery at a Boots store in London.
