Revealed: The full shortlist for the C+D Awards 2023
C+D has revealed the full shortlist for its sixteenth annual awards, taking place in London on September 6.
A 16-strong independent panel of judges whittled down 125 entries into a list of finalists across 14 categories.
The quality of entries for the Innovation of the Year Award category was so high that the category has been split into two, while the calibre of entries for Pharmacy Team of the Year made shortlisting especially hard for the judges.

To highlight the vital work that is being done by pharmacists working in GP and primary care network (PCN) settings, C+D this year introduced a GP and PCN Pharmacist of the Year Award.
There have also been changes to the C+D Awards judging panel, including two new judges. So, what do our new judges think?
“There are so many exceptional people and organisations in our profession, and I definitely felt inspired reading about some of the amazing work currently taking place in the pharmacy world,” Nonyelum Anigbo, president of the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (BPSA), said.

Meanwhile Sukay Somal, managing director of PharmaCare Solutions UK Ltd and owner of PharmaCare Pharmacy, said she enjoyed “reading the personal achievements of the teams the most”.
The Above and Beyond Award will also return for a sixth year, split into Individual and Team categories for the second year running. The voting for these categories opened on Monday (July 17) and C+D readers have until July 31 to vote online for those they think are most deserving of taking home a trophy.
The winners of all 14 categories will be announced at the awards ceremony at The Brewery in London on September 6.
C+D editor Beth Kennedy said: “We are delighted to reveal the shortlist for the C+D Awards 2023. Our judges certainly had a hard time whittling it down this year, with the quality of entries especially high.
“Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to enter and judge the awards this year.
"I am very much looking forward to celebrating with you all at the event later this year. Get ready for community pharmacy’s most glamorous night of the year!”
