Once again we are on the hunt for those who are worthy of a C+D award. Do you or your team go above and beyond to serve your patients? Maybe your smoking cessation service is the best in show, or perhaps your travel clinic is the talk of the town?
Whatever your reason, tell us why you or your team are a contender for this year’s awards.
This year’s list of 13 award categories includes the return of Trainee Pharmacist of the Year category which will recognise the best and brightest candidates at the start of their pharmacy journey and the popular Diversity and Inclusion Award, which last year awarded Health Education England for its great work in this area.
We are also proud to announce two new categories. GP or PCN Pharmacist of the Year which will honour those who are making waves in emerging primary care roles. Could this be you? While the Innovation of the Year category seeks to find those who are truly pushing the boundaries of what pharmacy can do, whether that’s through technology, health initiatives or unique business plans.
With a wide variety of categories to choose from this is your chance to show the pharmacy community what you have done and why you stand head and shoulders above the rest.
The trophies will be handed out at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London. Make sure you book your place so you are able to join us.
Finally find inspiration by reading about each of last year’s C+D Award winners, runners-up and shortlisted entries and visit the category pages to take a look at the specifications for each award.
These unique awards are a chance to celebrate the individual stories of pharmacists and pharmacy staff going above and beyond for their patients, and for the sector. Tell us about a time when you went beyond the call of duty to help patients – from life-saving interventions to charity work and everything in between. The shortlisted stories in each category will be voted for by C+D readers. If the story you want to submit involves a colleague rather than yourself, it’s fine for you to enter on their behalf. However, you must ensure you have checked all the facts with them.
