The 19th C+D Awards ceremony took place last night at the London Hilton on Park Lane. These glamourous surroundings were complimented by the panache of the evening’s host, Anton du Beke from Strictly Come Dancing.
It’s important to acknowledge that this fantastic event would not have taken place without the support of our sponsors, our judges and the C+D team behind the scenes, so huge thanks to all of them for their hard work and contributions.
Nearly 700 guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal before getting down to the main business of the night – recognising the talent and commitment of community pharmacists. There were some brilliant examples of innovative thinking and patient-focused care developed and implemented by both individuals and teams.
We were delighted to introduce three new award categories this year - Best Pharmacy Support by a Pharma or Healthcare Company, Services or Consultation of the Year, and The Pills Award, voted for by C+D readers, which recognises talent in the pharmacy industry.
