Evaro said the partnership, which will see medicines delivered to customers “within 24 hours” of test results, removes the “traditional barriers of GP appointments and pharmacy visits”.

Online pharmacy Evaro has partnered with rapid home testing kit provider U-Test Diagnostics to “bridge the gap” between at-home testing and treatment, it announced today.

Evaro claimed that the move makes U-Test Diagnostics the UK’s “first home testing provider” to give patients a “direct pathway” from test results to prescription delivery.

U-Test Diagnostics customers that test positive for conditions including sexually transmitted and urinary tract infections can now access Evaro’s prescription services, it added, and have medicines delivered to their homes “within 24 hours of receiving test results”.

This removes the “traditional barriers of GP appointments and pharmacy visits for conditions that can be safely managed digitally”, the company said.

Evaro said its consultation model requires “no appointments or video calls”, with patients instead completing “discrete online consultations reviewed by NHS-registered clinicians” and prescriptions “dispensed and delivered next-day in most cases”.

It added that U-Test Diagnostics has supplied “more than 75 million” lateral flow testing kits to medical organisations, government bodies and major corporations over the last five years - and also “provides testing solutions” for leading sporting organisations including Team GB and the Welsh Rugby Union.

“A seamless pathway”

Evaro CEO and co-founder Dr Thuria Wenbar said people “are already comfortable testing themselves at home” and “the next stage of that experience is discrete, safe, immediate access to treatment”.

“By connecting U-Test Diagnostics’s diagnostic capability with our NHS-licensed prescribing infrastructure, we’re creating the kind of end-to-end patient journey that I’m hoping will become standard in 2026,” she added.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: healthcare should be as universal and accessible as online banking.”

And U-Test Diagnostics co-founder and managing director Harry Griffiths said the partnership with Evaro helps “bridge the gap between home testing and treatment” and gives customers “a seamless pathway from results to prescription and fulfilment, without the usual delays”.

It comes after Evaro was one of three online pharmacies named in the Sunday Times’ list of the 100 fastest-growing tech companies in the UK.

It ranked 29th on the league table for software companies, having seen £12.1m in revenue last year and an annual growth of 109.72%.
