Last chance to be named Britain's favourite pharmacist
The RPS has received 56 entries to its I Love My Pharmacist competition so far
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) has urged pharmacists to enter its competition to find Britian's favourite pharmacist in the final hours before entries close.
The deadline for submissions to this year’s I Love My Pharmacist competition is midnight tonight (July 28), and RPS spokesperson Neal Patel urged any pharmacists still considering submitting an entry to do so.
Mr Patel told C+D the RPS was “absolutely delighted” to have received 56 submissions so far, and that the judging panel - including C+D editor Jennifer Richardson - would have a “tough job” shortlisting the entries.
Those wishing to enter the competition, which the RPS is running this year with C+D as its only media partner, should visit the society's website and answer a question on the biggest impact they or their team have had on patient care, using a minimum of 250 words.
Last year’s winner Reena Barai told C+D last week that she had originally been nominated by a patient for "being kind".
A judging panel including Ms Richardson and Ms Barai will whittle down the entries to three regional finalists from each of six regions across Britain.
What's the biggest impact you or your team have had on patient care?
