Listen back to C+D's education webinar
Readers can listen to the GPhC's head of education Damian Day (pictured), ProPharmace managing director, and a student discuss whether pharmacy education needs an overhaul
The event – funded by Actavis and chaired by C+D news editor James Waldron and reporter Beth Kennedy– was broadcast live yesterday (December 8).
The debate saw General Pharmaceutical Council head of education Damian Day, training provider ProPharmace managing director Noma Al-Ahmad, student support organisation Team Pre-Reg co-director Jay Modhvadia, and pre-registration student Zohib Sheikh discuss the future of pharmacy education.
During the discussion, Mr Day set out the GPhC's view on the sector's calls for a cap on student numbers. The speakers also discussed responses from listeners and the results of a series of exclusive C+D reader polls.
