C+D Awards 2015: Shortlist revealed
Twelve of the 71 finalists will join last year's winners (pictured) in receiving a C+D trophy
Pharmacy chain Whitworth Chemists has scooped eight nominations in this year’s C+D Awards.
The chain’s travel/sexual health clinics and supported living scheme are both contenders for C+D Business Initiative of the Year, while recently appointed managing director Jay Badenhorst also made the shortlist in both the Manager of the Year and Community Pharmacist of the Year categories.
A 31-strong judging panel selected 71 finalists across 12 categories. The winners will receive their trophies at a ceremony in central London on June 11.
Northern Irish entrant Bannside Pharmacy in Portglenone and London chain Green Light Pharmacy both received three nominations. A range of entrants are up for two awards each, including North East London LPC, Community Pharmacy West Yorkshire and Andersons Pharmacy in Portadown, Northern Ireland.
