C+D to reveal results of stock shortages inquiry
Sort Out Stocks News team to hold live Twitter chat on Wednesday from 6pm to reveal how problems in the supply chain have been affecting pharmacists and patients
C+D will be revealing the findings of its stock shortages investigation during a live Twitter chat on Wednesday (November 27) evening.
The news team will be hosting the debate from 6pm, when it will reveal how problems in the medicines supply chain have been affecting pharmacists and their patients over the past 12 months.
C+D has been collecting evidence of medicine shortages from its readers since November last year and it will be presenting its findings in a report to the Department of Health tomorrow to help reveal the extent of the problem on the ground and urge the government to take action.
The findings include how long pharmacists are spending each week sourcing out-of-stock drugs and how often patients are being harmed as a result of problems in the supply chain. C+D will also provide first-hand accounts from pharmacists who are battling with shortages on a regular basis.
The findings will be revealed during a live Twitter chat on Wednesday (November 27) from 6pm – search #sortoutstocks |
