With over 14 mass vaccination sites, and over 120 staff including more than 30 pharmacists, the RJRChem team have worked with the military and local volunteers during the first wave of COVID-19 vaccinations and delivered 240,000 jabs. Their hard work meant they were within the top 10 vaccine providers in the country in the number of jabs administered, picking up admiration from NHS England.

Through appearances on local radio and television advertising, the team pushed their presence in ethnic minority areas to educate locals about the vaccine and reassure the public about the benefits as opposed to the preconceived risks.

Patients have applauded the team for being “organised and efficient” and the staff members’ friendliness was also praised.
